A little time in the country, A day or two to slow down
Life is crazy in Hammistan.
My poor little body is not used to putting in 12 hour days at my fantabulous new job. Fortunately, my poor little blog is quite used to putting in month-long waits between posts.
Your understanding of the concept of "fortunately" may differ slightly from mine...
On the other hand, I was treated to some very excellent Australian Shiraz earlier this week. I now understand why Rachy is so enamored with it.

If you like shiraz, try Mirassou. It's the shit. I may not be spelling it correctly. I think there's a yellow sun on the label, but it's been a couple of years now since my last drink, so I don't remember. What I do remember is that Mirassou shiraz was my favorite wine...not that I was a connoisseur, mind you, but still.
I was wrong...the Mirassou that I liked was not a shiraz, but a pinot noir.
You can't go wrong with John Duval when you're drinking Aussie Shiraz. Though Jacob's Creek does quite nicely for the drunkard on more of a budget.
